Peter Toth
Hungarian pianist Peter Toth has become one of the most significant Liszt interpretaters of his generation. He has won top prizes at many piano competitions, including the Franz Liszt International Piano and Voice Competition in Los Angeles. He does, however, have a wide and diverse repertoire, ranging from J.S. Bach to contemporary music, with a particular focus on piano music of the 19th century.


Melanie Ashkar
Lebanese-American mezzo-soprano Melanie Ashkar is a Washington, D.C. native currently based in Salt Lake City. She is a member of the Resident Artist Program at Utah Opera, where this season, she appears as La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi and as Sally in Die Fledermaus. Melanie received her Master of Music from Mannes College, The New School for Music, in 2016.
