Peter Tesei, Chairman of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors, announces the board's decision to to cancel the September and November 2020 as well as the January and February 2021 concerts. Musicians and board members are working together developing creative ways to continue to bring classical music to our audience in these challenging times. The season of live GSO concerts will resume when conditions permit. Subscriptions will, of course, be honored at that time.
The Greenwich Symphony performs five concerts a year between September and April. There is a Saturday concert at 7:30 pm and a Sunday concert at 3 pm, as well as pre-concert lectures an hour before each performance. The orchestra has been joined by a wide range of talented soloists over the years, both seasoned and in the early stages of their careers.
Concerts are held at the Performing Arts Center at Greenwich High School, 10 Hillside Road, Greenwich, CT.
