Greenwich Symphony Orchestra – GSO, like every other cherished cultural institution, had to curtail its traditional programs for the last year. We were determined not to allow the pandemic to eliminate the kind of inspiration that comes from great music, nor did we want to disengage with our loyal audience and talented musicians.
GSOffstage provided a vehicle for our musicians to present their extraordinary music to the community through virtual performances. GSO also became a major presence on social media – via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. We are thrilled to be back with live concerts for the upcoming season, but hope you will take advantage of these social media opportunities to enjoy and share GSO music wherever and whenever you wish!

Our Wish for You . . . Someone to Watch Over Me is a tender love song written by George and Ira Gershwin. Listen on the GSO YouTube channel as Susie Rotholz sings this beautiful song accompanied by her husband Eliot Bailen on guitar. Susie is Principal Flutist for the GSO and you'll see that she and her husband demonstrate musical skills you might not expect from classical musicians.
